Accurate Precipitation Measurement Without Moving Parts

The 50203 Precipitation Gauge is a high-precision, unheated precipitation sensor designed to accurately measure rainfall in moderate climates. Featuring an innovative no-moving-parts design, it eliminates the mechanical wear and motion sensitivity associated with conventional tipping-bucket and weighing rain gauges, making it ideal for both fixed and mobile monitoring applications. The gauge uses a capacitive measuring chamber to convert precipitation into a precise linear voltage output, ensuring reliable data collection with minimal maintenance.
