Events   Buraq Integrated Solution launched Electronic Documents & File Processing Solutions (eDoX) in Central Board of Revenue (Islamabad). Buraq Integrated Solutions was awarded a project of “Process Automation-PS Dte”. This version has following additional features: Node Search This feature is beneficial in case when you have nodes in thousands and you can not navigate easily through these nodes manually. If you want to work on specific node whose name is known to you, then follow the steps: Right click on cabinet and select option node search Enter name of node and press ok It will search and open the respective node ready to do work When you right click on node then domain of search is that node or if you click on cabinet then domain of search is whole cabinet Search of Objects by all Attachments As you know attachments are sticky notes, key words, book marks. When one can search these attachments we have to search attachments one by one by options given under "Search" menu. By this option we can search all attachments if they have same name. Click on search menu and select option "Search by all attachments". Enter the attachment name click search. You will find all objects having different types of attachment but text of attachment is same. Use of Microsoft Office 2003 OCR As for OCR purpose we were using third party OCR facility like Sakhr which have licensee and not free of cost. At this time we are using Office 2003 SDK OCR facility for OCR purpose. But through Office 2003 we can make OCR only in English no Arabic support. One can select Microsoft OCR facility as: Select OCR -> OCR type-> Microsoft Content management in eDOX We are managing contents in eDoX by attaching sticky notes on documents with their whole text during importing the documents into eDox. After attaching sticky note we can search any document by its sticky note. Steps are given as: Setting menu->Manage document contents menu. Now when import the document the sticky note will be automatically attached. We are not supporting all types of file but supporting only following file extensions: File.Doc File.ppt File.txt File.xls File.html Workflow report This is an additional report with other reports in eDoX admin. The responsibilities of this reports is to show status of stage during flow of index card of specific process. Image quality factor adjustment This feature is used to adjust quality of image which is being scanned so that if image which has low quality has size low and if image with high quality has size high. This feature can be use to trade off between image size and quality. Settings->Image Quality. After setting quality factor, the images which are being scanned their quality factor is automatically adjusted. Sub index card as main index card First in eDoX it was not possible that to inset the information of sub index card like parent index card. In some cases the information of sub indexcard is also required like main index card. Creation method is same like sub index card only difference is to select the option "New->indexcard" instead of "New-> Sub Indexcrad".
